Objective
Create a Pose file (.pos) by using CLO and Marvelous Designer software.
1. How to Create a pose file (.pos)
1-1. Creating a Pose file (.pos) using an avatar file (.avt).
1-2. Creating a Pose File (.pos) using FBX, GLB, or GLTF.
1-1. Creating a Pose file (.pos) using an avatar file (.avt)
To create a pose file (.pos) by manipulating the joints of an avatar (.avt), you must have an avatar file with joints already set up.
1. Launch CLO or Marvelous Designer.
2. From the main menu, click on File > Open > Avatar, or click on Avatar > Open in the Library.
3. In the 3D Window, go to Avatar Display > Show Avatar Joint (Shift + X) to switch to the avatar's joint mode.
4. Move the Avatar's joints to create your desired poses.
5. From the main menu, click on File > Save as > Pose.
6. After entering the name and path for a pose file (.pos), save it.
※ Note: Pose files (.pos) generated with CLO or Marvelous Designer's official Avatars (FV2, MV2, KV1) are fully compatible with each other.
1-2. Creating a Pose file (.pos) using FBX, GLB, or GLTF.
Create a pose file (.pos) using FBX, GLB, or GLTF files with Pre-defined pose settings.
FBX, GLB, or GLTF file MUST contain the Avatar Mesh and Joints, with identical names and joint structures to the avatar file (.avt) that the pose file (.pos) will be applied.
1. Launch CLO or Marvelous Designer.
2. From the main menu, click on File > Import > FBX / GLB / GLTF.
3. Select and open the FBX, GLB, or GLTF file you want to utilize for the Pose file (.pos).
4. Manipulate the Avatar's Joint to create the desired pose.
5. From the main menu, click on File > Save As > Pose.
6. After entering the name and path for a pose file (.pos), save it.
※ Note: The pose file (.pos) will not work properly if you are applying it to an avatar with a different joint structure.
2. CONNECT UPLOAD - Entering Asset Description
When uploading the pose file (.pos) to CONNECT, please provide detailed information about the asset for the convenience of customers.
If detailed information is missing, asset registration may be rejected during the item approval process.
1. UPLOAD (Mandatory)
Confirm the uploaded asset name and format and replace the file by pressing the REUPLOAD button if necessary.
2. TITLE (Mandatory)
Please enter the asset name that will be displayed on CONNECT.
By default, the uploaded asset's name will be set automatically as the DEFAULT TITLE.
3. DESCRIPTION
please specify the Avatar file (AVT) that is compatible with the pose file (.pos) in the Description.
( When uploading a file, if you have selected "Others" under SET AVATAR CATEGORIES > Compatibility, please provide the name and link of the avatar file (.avt) that is compatible with the pose file (.pos). )
4. TAGS
'TAGS' is a target keyword that helps customers search and amplify your content's reach. Entering the type of assets for sale will help customers when searching for the items.
5. ATTACHMENT
You can attach files relating to the pose file (.pos). However, it is impossible to track attachment files attached to 'ATTACHMENT' are being used.
6. ADD SUB-IMAGES
You can additionally add images that highlight the characteristics of the pose file (.pos).
7. THUMBNAIL
Register an image that well showcases the characteristics of the pose file (.pos).
If you applied a material that is visible only in the render, please register the rendered image.
Registering the images where items are not visible or images unrelated to the item may lead to rejection during the item approval process.
