Creating Button hole

Objective
Create Buttonhole items by using CLO and Marvelous Designer software. 

Required & Recommended

        [Required]

• The buttonhole file format must be *bth.
• The image of the buttonhole must have a transparent background and be saved in PNG format.
• Buttonhole Images must be black and white with no color value.
• Buttonhole Image should not show aliasing.
• Buttonhole Image must be registered as horizontal orientation. (Please refer to the example image below.)
  
• The DEFAULT SIZE of BUTTONHOLE must be provided in the Description.

         [Recommended]

• The image of the buttonhole should be at least 300px in horizontal length.
• For stable simulation, make sure the size of the product is not too big or too small.

1. Create a buttonhole

To save as BTH format, you need to have PNG files having a transparent background. If you have a different format other than PNG, export as a PNG format file from other IMAGE EDITING software.

1. Open CLO

2. Move to the Buttonhole Tab and select the buttonhole tab from the Object Browser.

3. To register BUTTONHOLE, click the ‘register’ button next to the Shape menu in PROPERTY EDITOR.

4. Enter registration information

• Name. Enter Product name
• IMAGE. Click the ‘Open’ button and load IMAGE files to register
  • For the Thumbnail, Register the thumbnail as landscape orientation with a transparent background and save it in PNG format.
    
    

5. Click the ‘OK’ button.

2. CONNECT UPLOAD - Entering Asset Description

When uploading the BTH to CONNECT, please provide detailed information about the asset for the convenience of customers.

If detailed information is missing, asset registration may be rejected during the item approval process.

1. UPLOAD (Mandatory)

Confirm the uploaded asset name and format and replace the file by pressing the REUPLOAD button if necessary.

2. TITLE (Mandatory)

Please enter the asset name that will be displayed on CONNECT.

By default, the uploaded asset's name will be set automatically as the DEFAULT TITLE.

3. DESCRIPTION

Please provide the default size of the BUTTONHOLE that you created for customers. Please provide the button units or BTH information in Width & Length values.

4. TAGS 

'TAGS' is a target keyword that helps customers search and amplify your content's reach. Entering the type of assets for sale will help customers when searching for the items.

5. ATTACHMENT

You can attach files relating to the BUTTONHOLE. However, it is impossible to track attachment files attached to 'ATTACHMENT' are being used.

6. ADD SUB-IMAGES

You can additionally add images that highlight the characteristics of the BTH.

7. THUMBNAIL

Register an image that well showcases the characteristics of the BTH.

If you applied a material that is visible only in the render, please register the rendered image.

Registering the images where items are not visible or images unrelated to the item may lead to rejection during the item approval process.
